About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

What counts as a residence and working permission?

I have a Swedish passport but will be working in Ireland until my trip to China (Shanghai). I have found Form A + B to fill in and have a Photo and my Irish PPS Number. But no other work documents as I'm a subcontractor. Do I need to attain anything else and what would that document look like?

It is ok if you are working there, PPS or the original and photocopy of your valid certificate of legal staying provided by the relevant authorities is ok for application.

Thanks! but I don't need a certificate of legal staying to be working here as I'm with an International Company. And as it is under 3 months I don't need any special visa for Ireland ether. So all I have really is my PPS Number. How would I get a certificate of legal staying?

Hi, you are suggested to contact the embassy directly if they accept your application with PPS number. As I know, if you are short time visitor, you may need to apply in Sweden instead.
