Visa related questions

Hi.
I'm currently in the United States, but not US citizen, I'm transferring to a Chinese University and already got the invitation (the necessary documents from university to apply for Chinese X). I need the rush service. I couple of questions. Could you please answer them. I will appreciate it.

1. How much will be the total price for making it, including everything?
2. I'm in the Washington State, as I know the closest Chinese Consulate in San Francisco, I cannot afford to fly all the way to SF. The question is can I do everything online, fax of any other way?

3. In the rush service choice it says that it would take only one day, if I'm in the WA state, and will be able to do the document process by fax or any other way, how long it take FOR ME to do it? I mean how long will I need to wait, even though it says 1 day, I mean will it depend on shipping, or if says 1 day then it's 1 day to everywhere?

4. What documents do I need collect to apply for it(student X).

5. Where do I need to submit them?

6. What to do to make the process faster, not considering choosing the rush service? I mean at that time should I be submitting the documents, considering the different times in the States?

7. What is the maximum duration I can apply for. I'm a student and going to study there?

That's pretty much it so far. And I know that to most of the questions I can find the answers in internet, but I'm still asking for you help. Could you please try to answer each of them. Thank you in advance.
