us citizen in jakarta, wkd trip to shanghai

Question

Hi, I am currently a US citizen working in jakarta who has booked a weekend trip to Shanghai leaving Friday Sept. 6th.  I realize I need to submit my application for the visa fairly soon.  If I submit tomorrow (weds am), could I get it back by Friday?  I am leaving on a weekend trip to Bali this Saturday and don't want to be without my passport. Thanks!

Hi, I am afraid you can not get it back by Friday as you said above. The processing will take 4 working days from the CVASC. Please contact the center directly if they provide express service for the second day/same day collection for US passport or not. Tel:021-579-38655
