Age requirement - over 65

I have an opportunity to help a company set up a research lab in PRC but the age requirement is a problem since I am over 65. Is there a way around this? If I can get one, I would like to travel in and out of PRC six or seven times a year maximum, would have a fixed residence and workplace in China but would be there for 2-6 weeks at a time...

Well, I heard that it was difficult for people over 65 to apply in previous days. Don't know if there are changes recently. You may try to apply for it.
