About:China Customs Declaration

Can I take my hard drive into China

It's 2TB and full of films music, UK TV programmes and audio books. No porn. I don't have a laptop but thought I'd get one out there as I will be over there for a number of months. but I would like access to my media library

Yes, you can take that in, but I heard you need to pay some tax.
