The cheapest and relatively fast way for you two is MTR. At the airport, you can take local subway line 2 to get off at East Nanjing Road. Getting out of Exit 4, you will easily walk to your hotel. It costs CNY7 per person.

If by taxi, it costs CNY160 or a little more.

Is the Maglev train also a feasible way to travel from the airport? If yes, where do we exit? How far a walk is it to the Grand Central hotel? Thank you

Yes, the Maglev will be much faster than direct travel by MTR. However, it cannot take you to the hotel directly. You can take that to Longyang Road, where transfer to subway line 2 to East Nanjing Road Station. Then follow the way I mentioned above to your hotel.
