chinese business visa for indians staying in bangkok with valid work permit

I am an indian living in bangkok with valid work permit since last 5 months. I work for a very reputed MNC which had issued all necessary invitation letter foom China and all other documents like 6 months bank statement, tickets and hotel booking were made available. My application was for 30 days max. I was denied on the ground that i did not stay in thailand for 6 months. I had applied to many other countries like phil, switz, vietnam etc and therr was no issues at all. Pls advice if any one has any idea on above. Thanks
