About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

visa entry into Guangzhou

iam planning in travelling by ferry from Macau to Guangzhou for two nights and onward by train to HONG KONG .Can I get a 72 hour transit and /or am I able to apply for one at the entry point at Guangzhou .Onward journey back to Australia after 4 nights in H.K.

No, you need to apply for a visa in advance. The free transit is for air passengers only.

Hi Adrian,
You could come to HK direct and then get a HK ONE on arrival for 90 days on a landing card. After that you can travel to Macau & mainland. But make sure you get a chinese L beforehand. Its not on arrival.
