About:Chinese Embassy in India

should i apply for a visa to visit a friend? if yes what are the formalities?

i! i am foreign student from republic of congo,i would like to visit someone in china for 1 month.

Hi, you need to apply for a tourist L for this visit. Please refer to the website of Chinese embassy for the latest requirements. You may need to submit your application to CVASC if available in your place.
