Spelling mistake of my Initial Name on JW201 & Admission Notice

Hi my name is Muhammad Taqi Merchant, i have recieved my JW201 and admission notice on the 15th of August and my first name is spelled on it as "Mohammed" however the spelling on Passport and other relevant document is "Muhammad" as per my JW201 and admission notice i have to reach China on 1st of September which has left me with very little time to get this spelling changed on my documents. I have not applied for the visa yet but i will be applying in a few days with the name Muhammad can any one please guide me whether this would be a serious concern or not? I am confused my self as generally in Pakistan these spelling are use interchangeably and it doesn't change the pronunciation of the name.

I think it will not be a serious problem. So better try to apply asap from the Chinese embassy. Otherwise, time will be limit for you to get new documents if necessary.

Ashlay is right, visit embassy, they are mostly cooperative and try to solve small issues. Need not mention the error yourself.
