bus changsha to guangzhou by 22 august 2013. can take a bus? is train service down?

I need to travel from CS to GZ to catch a flight back to my country.  I heard the train service between CS to GZ is down. Is is true? Can I take an alternative transport. Like a bus to Guangzhou from CS. How long is the journey? What time is the schedule leaving CS?Please help anyone.

Yes, the service is down from today. The buses to reach Guangzhou start from CS South Bus Station. The buses are at 11:00, 14:30, 15:30, 16:30, 17:30, 18:00, 18:30 and 19:00 and it takes about 7 to 8 hours.
