Thanks, Annabelle, but a friend of mine told me not to stay too near to Baima market for safety reasons hence 2-3 stations away. Am thinking of Jinjiang Inn at Sun Yat San Memorial Hall station but not sure if it's convenient or how far it is. Unlike Singapore, the distance between stations is shorter.

OK, if you choose to live in Jinjiang Inn at the Memorial Hall, it is around 2.5km from baima Market. You can easily take a taxi to get there or walk to walk Sun Yat San Memorial Hall MTR Station to take subway line2 to GZ Railway Station. Get out from Exit G and you can walk to the market in a few minutes.
