About:China Visa Exemption

I have a 90 day 1 entry visa for China

I originally planned to use in HKG. I have a plane ticket that goes IAH-PEK-HKG. My plans have changed and I do not wish to go forward from PEK to HKG. will I be allowed to enter PEK although my ticket says HKG?

Sorry, I am not clear about your question. To go from PEK to HKG counts an exit on your visa because HK has different enter-exit regulation from mianland PRC. So, if you have only a single entry one, you can only enter mainland PRC once time.
