longer than 3 months????

My son will be staying with family in china,, we want him to stay longer than 3months, is leaving the country then coming back the only way????

If you work or reside here, you son is able to extend his visa at your local PSB. I heard that there is new type S for long-term family union. So, better visit the PSB for more information.
