Do I need a visa for China Beijing if I hold a british passport

I have dual citizenship British/Israeli and I would like to know if I can enter China without visa with British Passport?

Unless you make a stopover via Beijing Airport (PEK) by international flight to a third country, then you are allowed to stay for at most 72 hours without visa. Otherwise, you have to apply for a Chinese tourist visa in advance.
