if I want to arrive to one of the grassland from Hohhot, which one of them is closer? and how can I go there? is there any bus or train station?

Well, by bus, you can take a bus at HH Long-distance  Bus Station to take a bus to Bailing Temple and get off at Zhaohe, which is right on te grassland. Another grassland nearby should be HuitengXile Grassland, which is around 135km from HH city.
