Is it possible for international student in the u.s. to get F visa in America?

Hello.
Can I get F in the U.S though I am citizen of South Korea? I am an international student who just finished school works but currently live in Texas. I have to stay in the U.S for few weeks because of the personal reason. The thing is.. There is an exhibition in Shanghai on September 25. As it said above, I need at least one or two month in order to apply F. I'm kind of worried if I cannot make the business trip because I plan to go back to Korea in the beginning of September. I could definitely provide requirements that you need. Is there any way to get it here? I'm desperate! I'll look forward to your reply! Thanks (:

Yes, you can apply in US with documents showing your residency there, such as valid visa or certificate for permit for study.
