train tickets to lijiang from kunming

We will be on backpack travel to KM/LiJiang on 19 Aug 2013. Is it a holiday season there? We plan to take the night sleeper train from KM to Lijiang as soon as we reached KM around 5pm. However, we will only purchase the tickets when we reach the train station. How likely is it will the tickets be sold out?

August 19 is not the holiday. I helped you to check the train tickets situation and found that ticket of only two trains can be purchases now based on your requirement. The one is K9606 at 20:53 and the other is K9614 at 22:26. According to situation, it is suggested to book the train tickets in advance, otherwise, it may be hard for you to get the train tickets.
