Visa free for Canadian born in Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan?

Just heard that a Canadian passport holder that was born in Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan need not to apply China visa anymore when travelling to China, is that true?

I didn't hear anything about it. Canadian passport holders can stay in HK for 90 days and 30 days in Macau. And I was told that Canadians enjoy one-month visa free in Taiwan.
