About:Ferries Between Hong Kong and Shenzhen

Ferry from SkyPier in Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen

Can I fly into HK, visit the city for several days, then return to the airport and SkyPier and take a ferry to Shenzhen Shekou Port? If not what is the best way to travel to Shenzhen after flying in and visiting HK for several days?

Surely you can, but it may be a little inconvenient. After your visiting in HK, it is suggested to go to HK-Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan to take a direct ferry to Shekou directly.
Or if you wish you take a train, at Hung Hom Station, take East Rail Line to Lo Wu. Then pass the immigration border to Luo Hu, SZ.

At least, you need to reach the ferry about 30 minutes before the departure. You need to go through custom at Shekou Port.

If I go via HK-Macau Ferry Terminal and want to catch the 9:00 ferry, how early should I arrive at the terminal. Do I go through customs at the HK-Macau Ferry Terminal or when I arrive at Shekou in Shenzhen?
