Is it recommended to take shanghai airport Shuttle if not experienced at it?

I will be traveling to SH soon and staying at the Hilton near the Jing'an Temple. I was thinking about taking the Shuttle Bus line 2 to get there. However, on another site they say, "Only take the shuttle bus service if you are a hardened traveller." Is this really the case? If so, I may take the Maglev as far as it goes, and then a taxi from there to the Hotel.
