About:Beijing City Bus

How can I best go from the Beijing Airport to the Redwall Hotel in Dongcheng?

I am traveling to BJ a day early before my group is to meet. I thought the hotel I booked was very close to the airport but it turns out it is a bit of a distance. I was hoping someone familiar could direct me the best. I was hoping to avoid the taxi system as well.

Hi, Tim. I do not think you can avoid the taxi system, but you can use the taxi to travel for a short distance.
From the airport, you can take the shuttle bus line 3 to reach Chaoyangmen station. Then you can change to take a taxi to reach your hotel. From Chaoyangmen to your hotel, there is about 3.5 to 4km.
