About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

As an Australian, am i able to apply for a visa to work in Hong Kong?

I am hoping to get a job at the International Airport working for an airline as this is my current profession, but I am keen to work there for a max of 6 months.

Yes, you can apply for it with the help of your employer. If you haven't found a job jet, you might go to HK and apply for it after you find an employer.
