how do i apply for re-entry whilst on x-visa?

I am on X while on exchange for 5 months in Shanghai. I would like to exit during the National Holiday from 1-7 October. The X allows only one entry, which was made when I entered last week. How do I go about with my plans in Oct?

Hi, you are suggested to visit Shanghai PSB one month prior to the golden week for an extension of your X with one more entry. If you can not get it whilst in Shanghai (I am not sure the office issue extension to X type, but L and F is allowed), you should apply for a new X again in Singapore.
