Actually, DL is a city and Shandong is a province, so which city of Shandong do you wanna head for? Anyway, if you are going to Jinan (the capital city of Shandong), it is suggested to take the direct plane and you will get there in around an hour. If for Yantai, the cruise between deserves a try.
