About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

leaving guangzhou airport during a 16 hour stopover

I arrive in GZ airport on the 31 of july on a 16 hour stop over, can anyone tell me is it possible for me to leave the airport to visit the city and return later for my connecting flight, would i need a visa and where can i get a visa? Thanks.

If you will make an international transfer, the visa is not needed and time is enough for you to travel to the city and then return to the airport for connecting flight.
