what is the best & economical way to travel from guangzhou to macaufrom guangzhou to

Question

After ending my trip to Guangzhou on 12th Aug, I intend to spend 4 nights in Hong Kong and M (2 nights each). So from Guangzhou which is easier and cheaper to reach M or Hong Kong? I am asking about bus, train or ferry transport, not air.I am flexible to do either Hong Kong or M first. My return flight on 16th Aug is from Hong Kong. Please advise urgently as I have to book my hotels in Hong Kong and M accordingly.

From Guangzhou to M, it is suggested to take the light rail or direct bus to Zhuhai firstly. Then you just need to cross Gongbei border to M directly. From Guangzhou to HK, you can easily take a train at Guangzhou East Railway Station to Hung Hom, HK.

Thank You Shasha for your reply. Just need further information.To cross Gongbei border after reaching Zhuhai by bus, do I need to take a taxi or I can cross the border walking? I mean how close is it from the bus station where I will be dropped in Zhuhai to the Gongbei border? And after crossing the border, how do I reach hotel Venetian? Take a taxi or is there free shuttle service of the hotel from border to their hotel?Thank you for your information.

Hi, you can get off at Gongbei Bus Station by bus and then easily walk to the border to cross it. No need to take a taxi. After crossing the border, you will easily find the free shuttle buses of many hotels, including the Venetian.
