About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need a transit visa to stay in Guangzhou Hotels New Airport Hotel for a 16 hour layover?

Sydney > Guangzhou International Airport (16 hour layover) > London.

I'd like to book into a hotel on the airport site for the evening.

It is not necessary, you can get a stay permit after arrival to go out of the airport for the hotel.
