I was born in Hong Kong but lived in M for 9 years before migrating to Australia for 20 years. I am looking at returning back to either M or Hong Kong to learn Cantonese and would like to know how I can apply for permanent residency so I can remain in the country to study. What documents am I require to bring and application fors do I need to fill?

Hello, I think you need to contact the HK Immigration Department and see if they can help you get the HK permanent residency and HK ID card for permanent residents.
