Now i'm staying at Japan, and will go to China shanghai on 27 - 29  July, ask >>  i need to apply china visa or not? thanks

As I know, you are eligible to use 72 hour free transit if you make a stopover less than 72 hours via Shanghai airport. Will you return to Japan after this visit? if yes, you have to apply for one in advance through a travel agency.
