About:Huangshan Mountain

west sea canyon on Huangshan

I'll be going to that mountain on end sept. Is west canyon telpher fully operating? which entrance should i go? Do i need to stop at Tangkou? Or take a direct bus at shanghai south station? i'm coming from Tunxi. Thks

The cable is in trial operation now and I think it will be in operation when you are there.
It is suggested to start your journey from south gate and go down the hill from the east gate, or start from the east gate and ends at south gate.
From the Shanghai south bus station, you can find direct buses to reach the attraction directly and it is no use to stop at Tunxi. However, if you want to climbe the mountain, it is suggested to stop at Tunxi.

Yin- if ur going solo, we can team up as me and wife plan mid September 2013. We plan to stay in Tunxi and take off nx morning to Tangkou and start from there.

Hi Edwin. Sorry for the late reply. We have 3 pax here. We will be in the mountain on 29th and leaving back to hangzhou on next following evening . It's surely a rush trip for us. When is your trip?
