China Visa on Standby (Airline Staff) Ticket

Hello everyone,
I am looking to travel from Sydney (Australia) to Beijing in August 2013, and will be traveling on a standby ticket. Is a L type possible with a standby ticket, or will I need a confirmed seat in and out of the country? Cheers,
Alex

I think you need confirmed round-trip air tickets.

Hi Alex,
Did you manage to get an L type with your standby ticket?
Thanks,

It's impossible to apply for a L type with stand-by air tickets. You should provide confirmed air tickets which clearly show you already have a seat.
