We are stopping for five hours in Guangzhou

We are stopping for five hours in Guangzhou before we head to Paris - would there be enough time for us to get out of the airport to check the city and come back to board our next flight? If so do we have to get a Visa?

I think the time is too short for you to look around the city. A visit out of the airport is not suggested. If you do need to go out, you can apply for a free stay permit at the airport.
