I have just been asked by the factory in Yixing to visit them for an emergency decision for the export of goods from China to UK. and I need to fly to SH next week urgently. My Chinese visa has expired since May this year. Will I be able to obtain a 5 days visa on arrival in SH PUDONG airport?Many Thanks for taking time to answer my question.

You cannot get a 5 day visa on arrival.You need apply in advance as soon as possible. They have urgent service, so you need to choose that urgent service. Once you choose that service, in general, you can get a visa on the day you apply one.
