About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Do I need to complete both the Application Form and the Supplementary Application Form?

I am a Malaysian working here and I am a PR. I plan to visit a friend and go for a short holiday on my own. I will depart from Singap and return to Singap after this visit.

I plan to visit Shanghai and then return. A few months later, I plan to visit Guangzhou. It is recommended that I apply for a multiple entry?

Yes, both forms are required. You can apply for a double entry valid for 6 months, but supporting documents for double entries are required, such as flight ticket and hotel reservation.

Thanks Ray. Could you also help out with any query. I plan for a multi-city round trip : SG-BKK-Shanghai-BKK-SG. If the one granted is for SG-SHA-SG, do I have to apply for a different type of entry permit or?

No, it is not necessary. A double entry is ok for your visit no matter where you will fly from. They counts the entry times only with valid Chinese visa.
