Visa needed for 3-hours stop in Shanghai going from Delhi to Hong Kong?

We are taking a plane from Delhi to Hong Kong and the flight includes a stop at Shangai for 3 hours. Do we need to tramit any type or permit in advance? In the case we need some, which is the procedure and how much does it cost?
Thanks!

Hi, it is not necessary. Actually, you are allowed to transit in Shanghai for 72 hours. Just show your passport and ticket for leaving.
