About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Irish student in Beijing on an X Visa (study). I want to renew my one for a L type in HK?

I am an Irish student in Beijing on an X type (study) which runs out on the 19th. I am not familiar with the new laws that were introduced on July 1st 2013. I will go to Hong Kong this week to apply for a L type (1 day express) as i plan on staying an extra two months. Can someone let me know if this is possible??

Hi, you are suggested to contact a travel agency or visa agency for the latest information. Or contact the Commissioner's Office of the Ministry of China Foreign Affairs directly for this. It is said that the new rule came into effect on July 1st, but so far I have not seen any official information online.
