I plan to go to beijing in november with my family. Well, I hope to get some tips what will be the best option for me to travel and cheap. I'll be staying in an apartment somewhere on the Third Ring Road. I'll be in beijing for 10 days. Is it far to visit guilin? TQ

From GL to BJ, there is about 2500km. For traveling around BJ, I think the local subway is the best methods. Besides, you can easily find the public buses to reach many famous attractions there, so you may try them.
