backpacking from beijing to hong kong, do i have to prebook hotels for my application?

I am going to take the transiberian railroad from Moscow through Mongolia and the last stop is Beijing and I am in the middle of my Chinese visa application and my question is if I have to pre-book every hotel in advance for my backpacking journy from Beijing to Hong Kong? I have two hotels booked in different parts of Beijing but nothing on the way from Beijing to Hong KongDo have have to book all my hotels in advance or can I travel freely and check in on hotels or hostels on the way as I go?Kind regards,Simon

Hi, it is not necessary to book all hotels in advance. Your current ones in Beijing are enough for application. If possible, a travel itinerary and a ticket to Hong Kong are helpful for application.

Hello,I have a ticket from Hong Kong to Vietnam on the 24th of August, do you think that is enough or should I get a ticket from Beijing to Hong Kong aswell?
