About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Backpacking from Beijing to Hong Kong, do I have to prebook hotels for my application?

I am going to take the transiberian railroad from Moscow through Mongolia and the last stop is Beijing and I am in the middle of my Chinese visa application and my question is if I have to pre-book every hotel in advance for my backpacking journy from Beijing to Hong Kong? I have two hotels booked in different parts of Beijing but nothing on the way from Beijing to Hong Kong

Do have have to book all my hotels in advance or can I travel freely and check in on hotels or hostels on the way as I go?

Kind regards,
Simon

Hi, it is not necessary to book all hotels in advance. Your current ones in Beijing are enough for application. If possible, a travel itinerary and a ticket to Hong Kong are helpful for application.

Hello,

I have a ticket from Hong Kong to Vietnam on the 24th of August, do you think that is enough or should I get a ticket from Beijing to Hong Kong aswell?
