how to extend my tourism visa within china?

I heard they have passed new rules, in which I cant extend my tourism L. The only possibility is to go back to India and seek for a new one. Is there any possibility to extend it one more month here?, If so please help me. It would be very helpful.

Hi, may I know where you got this information? have you tried to apply for extension at your local PSB? I have the same concern, but since I can not get any information about the new rule, I am thinking we'd better ask the exit-entry administration for details.
