Urgent Visa for China from Bangkok

I am in Bangkok now, till saturday afternoon and I will then go to Chiang mai till the 12th of July. I am planning to visit a friend of mine in Shanghai and leave thailand on the 12th of july from chiang mai. Is it still possible to get it and where should i apply? In bangkok or Chiang mai? And what is the address of where i have to go?
