About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

I will be transiting Guangzhou airport for 23 hours in October. Do we Need a transit visa

The information details are confusing. Australian citizens x2 staying at the airport Pullman hotel just outside the customs desk but inside the airport complex at Guangzhou Airport. Do we need to apply for a transit G but what about June 2013? Its a bit muddled. Can you help?

Hi, you are not required to apply for the transit G if the stopover is for 23 hours only. You can apply for a free stay permit at the airport for the hotel.
