About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Fly Dubai to Beijing via Guangzhou 1-way ticket & leave Beijing w/in 2 days on another 1-way, ok?

US citizen and these will be on two separate tickets, will I have any issues?... going back to US from Beijing.

Sorry, you have to apply for a visa in advance before you set off.

Thank you, if I take a direct from Dubai on a nonstop will that work? since they are in in UAE and part of the 72 hour visa free

Yes, it is ok if you fly directly from Dubai to Beijing. You can confirm this with your airline befroe departure.
