About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

2 stop overs

My partner and I have a flight with 2 stop overs in Guangzhou and Beijing before flying to Europe and I was wondering if require a visa. I personally have a New Zealand passport and partner has an Australian one

Hi, if the transit time in China (stopovers in two airports, including the domestic flight between Guangzhou and Beijing) is less than 24 hours, you are not required visa. Otherwise, you have to apply for a Chinese transit G type in advance.
