Lithium Ion Batteries can be taken out of China?

I will be leaving China in two weeks and I bought myself a few spare parts for my hobbies of remote controlled planes. The thing is one of the items is a pair of Lithium Ion Batteries (One for my remote control and the other one for the plane's engine :-) )...Can I carry my batteries in my Hand luggage without problems? Or there are specific procedures that I will have to undergo to carry my two precious batteries...? Thanks.

Generally speaking, the small Lithium ion batteries can be taken in your hand bags, but in order to make sure, it is still suggested to ask the airline company to confirm directly.
