My husband and I will be going to Malaysia to visit family and then taking a tour of Guilin from Malaysia. Can I apply for Chinese visa from England before I travel?

Hi, a single entry Chinese visa is valid for 3 months from issue date. So it is ok to apply from England in advance if your will not stay that long in Malaysia.
