About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Hi, I am currently in China and on a Visa that allows 2 entries of 30 days.

I am nearing my first entry of 30 days and would like to stay here longer, so I know I have to leave the country and re-enter. However I am wondering if I am able to just go to the airport and get exit and entry stamps on my passport, instead of actually leaving the country? If I am able to this it would be much more convenient. Thanks!

Or does anyone know whether I would just be able to extend my current 30 day stay? And then I could avoid what I mentioned before.

Thanks

Personally, I think it is impossible for you to do that. How could you pass the checkpoint if you don't have a ticket in hands? If you really don't want to get out, you can extend it at local entry and exit mangement department (usually seven days in advance before it expires).
