About:Beijing Travel

I'm going to Beijing to feel the snow, could you recommend in what is right month to feel it?

Hi, to feel the snow, late Dec. to early Feb. shall be the right time.

But BJ doesn't always have a lot of snow... Shenyang, further north, might be more guaranteed. If you have the time and money, go to Harbin for the Ice Festival - but it gets really cold up there!

BJ is a very dry city. If you book tickets this far in advance there is no guarantee there will be snow on the ground. BUT there are quite a few ski slopes in BJ, so even if there is no snow on the ground you could still go to a ski slope and 'feel the snow', although it might be man-made.

Harbin is a better bet. They have a wonderful Ice Festival there every year starting in early January. You need to book now in order to get a good hotel room. And make sure you bring LOTS of warm clothes. It is so cold it will freeze you to the bone!
