Application for an American citizen from Japan

I'm from Japan, but have US citizenship, and will be traveling with my masters program in Yokohama to China for 10 days this summer. All my classmates have Japanese citizenship and my university has asked me to get my own. I assume its a tourist L, but where can I apply for this and what paperwork do I need from my university?

Hi, if you hold US passport, you need to apply through a local travel agency. Your Japanese visa and entry record are required for application. Other documents needed are your passport, application forms (both Form V2011A and Form V2011B), photo, round-trip ticket and hotel booking.
