About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

visa has Shanghai as entry and exit but we are leaving from Beijing after 5 days in china.

Does my Z type need to be updated to have the correct exit airport or can it have Shanghai as both entry and exit even thou I know that I will be leaving via Beijing. Thanks

Hi, it is ok. You can exit from Beijing if you hold valid Chinese visa.

You can exit from any city in China. However, I'm a little confused... you said your visa has an exit stamp already? Normally, on entry you will receive a red, circular stamp with the port of entry and date stamped next to it. Then on exit, you'll get a red, square stamp with the same. It should only show it's place of issue.
